Mountain Advantage Christmas Tree Farms would be happy to help with your fundraiser whatever the cause may be. There are various ways that you can perform a fundraiser. The avenue that you choose to go may depend on the amount of capital you have to invest to begin with. Your equipment, venues, and manpower capabilities may also effect which direction you may want to go with your fundraising. However, a motivated group of people can accomplish extraordinary feats. The amount of money that you can raise totally depends on the effort that is put into the fundraising. It is never an easy task but can be very rewarding. Mountain Advantage guarantees the quality and freshness of our product at the time of delivery. We do extend our fundraising customers our wholesale prices so that they can raise as much money as possible. Here are a few suggestions, but by no means the only possibilities, that we feel are worth consideration when you are trying to decide which route to take for your fundraising.
The first option would be a pre-order system. We developed pre-order forms that you can print off of the internet for your convenience. This system is great because you have the product sold for a known price before you order it for the wholesale price. The fundraising has been accomplished without taking a huge risk on a big investment. You only order what you have already sold. The harder you pre-sell, the more money you raise for your cause. This includes Christmas Trees, Wreaths, Garland, etc… Selling can start as early as you want it to start with this process.
The second option would be a retail lot scenario. If you have a prime location and the capital to invest in the lot set up along with the manpower to service the public, this may be a more viable option. Starting with a “trailer load” to see how sales will go would be an option. This is somewhere between 150 – 200 trees.
The third option to consider would be just selling wreaths and garland. If your manpower is limited, not selling trees would be an option. You can sell wreaths and garland along with other Christmas novelties either by pre-order or a retail location. Wreaths can be decorated, mixed garland can be made, or you may even want to mix in some baked goods for your sales.
All of the options will have delivery of the products to consider. We are capable of loading the customer’s trailer or truck, but we are also capable of delivery. That can be discussed and settled upon the request of the order. Payment is as follows: 1. 50% deposit before the trees are tagged or wreaths are ordered. 2. Final full payment at pickup or delivery.
